Naive Music Genre

Kevin's Naive Music; I call it Naive not because of the Lyrics (although they have their own Naive style) but because of the accompaniments. They are simply a mix of beat matched loops. When I write something My goal is to put as much Emotion as i can into the song at times with tears in my Eyes, I want it to be true and epic, I want it to be full of Life. I write songs of Love, Life, Triumph, Philosophy, Nature, Rhyme, Reason and more , Obviously I am not a musician or singer but i do consider myself a (Naive) artist. I also work in other mediums such as sculpturing, the wood carvings are mine. I grew up on Lake Erie Lagoons,But spent my Adult life raising my two kids in Linwood NJ,Both Lake Erie fishing and Clamming in the Bay added to my love of Nature, grandfather had a bate shop. Fishing and hunting was big in the family No doubt attributed to the fact that my ancestors were fur traders and interpreters. As long as I can remember I've had a love for trees, nature and the environment, I feel I have spiritual connection with mother earth, I attribute that to my families both connection and Ancestry to the Indigenous peoples of the Americas.

Great Black Wasp-Sphex pensylvanicus

Sting of this Wasp is painful Prey are stung three times,
once in the neck and twice in the thorax, and are paralyzed
by the wasp's sting, although they can survive for weeks.
The prey are then carried to the nest. While collecting their prey,
the females are vulnerable to Kleptomaniacs
well sort of (
kleptoparasitism)

(Being the voracious plant eaters that they are, grasshoppers can
be quite destructive to agricultural crops and are generally disliked
by the farmers. However, they do have a positive side as well.
The grasshopper droppings or frass that fall on the soil return the
nutrients back to the soil, thereby contributing to the nutrient turnover.
This frass is also consumed by birds and various arthropods and so
are a source of food to them. Thus, grasshoppers have their pros
and cons, but above all being herbivorous, they form a perfect link
between plants and the rest of the ecosystem)-

This is my best guess that this is Dalton Leo Sancrant

This is my best guess that this is
Dalton Leo Sancrant with his Daughter Phyllis
and  John W Sancrant (information via comment
by his grandson) one of
his sons and his mother wife of Charles Sancrant
Descendancy of (Sanscrainte) b.1862,
Idelia ((Anna) Pickard)
This would be My great uncle and great grandmother,
check out the trees this is probably Washington
state I was told he had a photographic memory
nd worked for the gov. at one point as sort of a spy,
I'm looking into it and and will post what I find

their is something to it This is what I've found so far
In 1948 Henry M. Jackson (papers - Special Collections,
UW Libraries) was named to the Congressional Joint Atomic
Energy Committee, an assignment he kept even after his
election as Senator in 1952. Although this committee
assignment presages Jackson's later interest in national
security and nuclear weaponry, at this time he was most
interested in the development of the Atomic Energy .
Sancrant, D. L. 1949-1951 was subject of correspondence
during this time, Thanks to John Sancrant for his input, hopefully
in the future he will shed more light on Dalton or the family.

Song Lyrics

[00:21.15]Have you ever wondered why angels have wings?
[00:30.58]Take a picture of a bird in flight and you’ll know why
[00:42.62]Have you ever wondered why they call a beautiful woman angel?
[00:57.97]It’s in the beauty in the eye of the beholder
[01:09.06]Can you imagine a golden sunburst surrounded by a rainbow?
[01:24.17]And at center an angel with a rainbow sunburst of her own
[01:37.00]From her head to the tip of her toes
[01:45.74]Embracing a raspberry rose that sprinkles magic stardust on your nose
[02:00.45]And when you smell it you fall in love you fall in love
[02:08.98]Have you ever wondered why angels have wings?
[02:18.59]Take a picture of a bird in flight and you’ll know why

I can see the starlight in your eyes tonight
Soon you’ll be resting on my shoulders
While I fly into the night graceful sky bless you
For your magic I take this ride with my lover
And you twilight is are destiny forever in a moment
Of time softly does the breeze lullaby are flight
It can’t get any higher than this only Heaven could compare
Only heaven could compare to this Faster
And faster we climb embrace embracing or bodies in flight
Give new meaning to the meaning of the night
Higher than higher to night love true and out of sight
I love you I love you come forth is the bottom line
Come forth is the bottom line

Its not that I’m complaining some times I see another life

Walk away from it all walk away from it all

Sometimes all I want to do is see the northern lights
Walk away from it all walk away from it all
I’ve had it up to here with this fast pace life
Everyone fighting for the same piece of pie
Rescue me dear lord I want to rest my eyes
Show me some of you heavenly sights
Walk away walk away lead me to the water chest high
Dunk my head bless my eyes walk away with
Me dear lord walk away to a beautiful sight

This is Long over due for an Edit, but the main thing is I've been progressing with my music

"I'm going to rewrite this soon to include some life events" Here's the dealeo, I started doing Wood Sculptures about 15 years ago to try and keep myself busy after I stopped drinking and smoking. About 5 years into it I got throat and neck Cancer. I say this because before I had the Cancer I had not written or sung Music. Looking to clean up an open space in late 2007 and 2008 ( http://openspacedocumentary.blogspot.com/) i became closer to some of the local wild life, I bonded with a Hawk and a Baby duck and started to write songs, I forced myself to sing when I could, I have over three hundred songs now, some good, some not so good, but I am getting better at writing, singing, mixing and arranging.

New:"Charleena"2013 "The River" 2013 and "Cried and Cried My life Story"2012 others "Reflections Destiny"2012 "Kevin'ns Epic Music"2012 "Fire Storm Of Emotion" 2012"Angel Secrets"2012 All 18 Available at my Store http://www.reverbnation.com/store/store/artist_489344?item_type=music

Song Writer/Naive Artist/story-teller

Nature inspires Linwood man to sing, record despite bout with throat cancer (PressOfAtlanticCity.Com)

I write from a position of emotion and honesty, usually tell a story about love, life, relationships, nature, adventure, history, spirituality, philosophy etc. My Art and Music style is Naive, I beat mix looped instruments as accompaniments but the melodies don't necessarily match, but I put a great deal of thought into them and try and bring something epic to bear in mind, yet some of my songs are ballads and relaxing songs of love .
I have 4 song books/ songbooks online my "The 2009" http://www.kevinlajiness.com/  and 2010 Song Book http://kevinsong2010.blogspot.com/ The 2011 Song Book  http://kevinlajiness2011songbook.blogspot.com/ and The 2012 Song Book at http://kevinlajiness2012songbook.blogspot.com/, These books represent a ton of work , good bad or indifferent. I apologize ahead of time for typo's English and spelling, i suck at all of that, but it's about the music and lyrics and that's what really matter but I gave it my best.
with some links to the songs , some I have taken down, (I am going to try and put them all back up for nostalgia and to show my progress from Throat and neck Cancer), but the lyrics are all there
I have many slideshows/Videos of nature and Open Space pic's over the years that I put to my music on YouTube-kevinlajiness  and saved in Google + or Picasa.

I grew up on Lake Erie Lagoons, my grandfather had a bate shop. Fishing and hunting was big on my fathers side no doubted stemmed from the fact that his ancestors were “Woods Runners” or “coureurs des bois”. As long as I can remember I’ve had a love for trees, nature and the environment, I attribute that, and the spiritual connection I have with mother earth, to the connection my ancestors had with the Indigenous peoples of the Americas. Most if not all of them are child friendly. I started writing my early songs while working on a open space for a year, where I bonded with a hawk and a duck.

Allot of what I draw from comes from life’s experience and what’s in my heart, what I believe is a responsibility to carry the messages of or ancestors on what is right, to come to a conclusion we are all part of something bigger than ourselves and that we pass that on to our children in story and song, but remember i am an artist I write story and rhyme, lesson and fable, I do not try to be politically correct.even though i don't use cuss words other that Hell and dam, I don't have a problem with artist that do,to each there own, I believe things evolve for a reason, hey it got someone out of the slums, by the way the baby duck that followed me home got to big and i gave her to a zoo keeper, she flew back to his house from the zoo and they raised her, she has since had her own baby's
